Berikaoba

 Berikaoba is a vibrant Georgian festival made up of ancient fertility rites and lively masquerade. Once celebrated across the country, today it survives in a handful of villages in Kakheti where participants don costumes made from animal hides and collect symbolic offerings of wine, bread, eggs, and honey.
