Melanie is a writer and photographer based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She currently pens long-form travel guides and destination features for Royal Caribbean.

She also spent years documenting culture and tradition in the small Black Sea country of Georgia. Her work has been published in CNN Travel, Euronews, The Telegraph, Wanderlust Magazine, Atlas Obscura, et al., where she has extensively written and photographed ethnographic stories on Georgian heritage, such as highlander life in Svaneti, lost religious festivals in Kakheti, and Adjaruli khachapuri's supposed origins.​
